SCS SB 515 -- Recorders of Deeds

This substitute sets a standard format for documents which are
recorded by a county recorder of deeds.  The new standard format
also applies to the Recorder of Deeds for the City of St.
Louis.  The substitute allows items that do not meet the
standard format requirements to pay an additional filing fee of
$25; however, after January 1, 2004, the recorder will not
accept items that do not meet the requirements.  Documents that
are executed outside the state of Missouri and do not meet the
requirements will pay an additional $25 to file in Missouri.
